Promotion to Gallagher Premiership will cease from 2021-22 season until 2025 at the earliest, under proposals for The English Championship. A "promotion and relegation commission" chaired by an independent QC would decide on promotion thereafter. Story in @theipaper @iPaperSport

I feel that its been coming for a while and that this season has been the icing on the cake **
Saracens will be the Christmas Turkey unless they bounce straight back up.

** I thought that it would have become a 13 team Division before the drawbridge was drawn up. The team that goes down next season could be in a really perillous position financially.
